At VBA, we want our members to have easy access to great providers and affordable frame and lens options. That’s why we’re always working to expand our network.

We’re excited to announce that Costco Optical is now a participating retailer, which will give members additional opportunities to maintain and manage their eye health.

Costco has over 400 optical centers nationwide that offer frames, contact lenses, and a variety of prescription and special lens options. *VBA members must have a Costco membership to access the optical center.*

Many Costco Optical locations also have an Independent Doctor of Optometry (OD) in the location, or in the surrounding area. ODs are contracted on an individual basis and those ODs that elect to join are considered in-network. Please note, if a Costco Optical OD **does not elect** to join our network, a member can still receive an eye exam; however, it will be considered **out-of-network**.

Through the OD relationship, VBA members will also gain access to vision care exams. *Costco memberships are not required for VBA members to receive an eye exam from a network OD.*
